McClelland - Anna White

Anna M. White was born March 10, 1845 married Tillman H. McClelland Nov 9, 1864, and died at their home in Darlington June 17, 1902. She was the mother of 11 children, five of whom are living. She has long been a consistent member of the ME Church and died in the full faith of a better world. She was genial, kindhearted, loved and respected by all - a true wife and mother. Her death was not unexpected as she had been confined to her home for some time with that deceitful but fatal disease, consumption, yet no murmur or complaint was hear as she often expressed herself ready to go. The funeral was held at the ME Church conducted by her pastor, Rev. Krewell. - kbz
